The Sabine Index - Mrs. Maudie Gandy

  7 Mar 1952 - Mrs. Maudie Gandy of Leesville passed away at
12:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at a Leesville hospital.

  Funeral services were conducted at Bellwood Baptist church with
Rev. Monroe Roberts officiating. Interment was in Old Bellwood
cemetery under direction of National Funeral home of
Natchitoches.

  Surviving relatives include: sons, Major Gandy of
Leesville, Ottis Gandy of Vowell's Mill, Henry Gandy of
Mississippi and Oscar Gandy of Alexandria; daughters, Mrs.
Lillian White and Mrs. Alice Thompson, both of Leesville.

  Mrs. Gandy is a sister of Mrs. Doss Nash of Many.

  Pallbearers were Doss and Olcie Nash, Lonzo and J. C.
Herrington, J. B. Stanley and Elden Lee.
