The Sabine Index - W. E. Gandy

  3 Aug 1951 - Funeral rites for W. E. Gandy, 53, who expired
at an Alexandria hospital Friday after a long illness, were held
at Beulah Baptist church at 2 p.m. Saturday by Revs. Glen Marr
and J. R. Miller. Interment followed under the direction of
Warren funeral home.

  Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. Mamie Gandy, Many;
son, W. E. Gandy, Jr., Many; daughters, Mrs. Gladys Wilcox of
Texas, Mrs. Edna Lack, Texarkana, Ark., Mrs. Mary Alice Jeter,
Zwolle, Miss Evelyn Gandy, Shreveport, Mrs. Geraldine Strickland,
Many; brother, A. T. Gandy, Many, and five grandchildren.
