George Gandy

  George Gandy, 78, of Grayson, died Monday, Jan. 17, at 1:50
p.m., in Columbia, as the result of an automobile accident.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m., in the
Middle Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Earl Marr officiating.
Interment was in the Middle Creek Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include two sons, Hoyt Gandy of Grayson, and Carl
Gandy of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Self of Monroe, and
Mrs. Geneva Neel of Shreveport; two brothers, Mack Gandy of
Provencal, and Edward Gandy of Pineville; four sisters, Mrs.
Della Speight, Many, Mrs. Penolia Cheeves, Alexandria, Mrs. Emma
Miller, Texas, and Mrs. Verna Smith of Crossett, Ark.; 7
grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
