Mack Gandy

  Mack Gandy, 75, of Provencal, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, at his
home, following a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Thursday, in the Blanchard-St.
Denis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Curtis Dickson, the Rev. Tracy
?, and the Rev. Hoyt Gandy officiating. Burial was in the Old
Bellwood Cemetery.

  Mr. Gandy is survived by his widow; one son, George Gandy of
Longstreet; one stepson, Herbert Honeycutt of Sulphur; three
daughters, Mrs. Hoyt Birdwell of Marthaville, Mrs. George Gregory
of Sulphur, and Mrs. W. E. Dowden of Kisatchie; one stepdaughter,
Mrs. Alden ? of Opelousas; four sisters, Penolla Cheeves of
Alexandria, Della Speight of Many, Emma Miller of Kirbyville,
Texas, and Verna Smith of Cressett Ark.; 11 grandchildren, six
step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
