  8 Jul 1955 - Page 1 - Funeral services for Mrs. M. N. Gandy,
78, who passed away in Leesville, Tuesday, July 5 after an
ext4ended illness was conducted at Beulah Baptist church at 10
a.m. July 7 with Rev. Coda Salter and Rev. J. P. King
offi8ciating.

  Interment was in Beulah cemetery under the direction of Warren
Funeral home of Many.

  Survivors are husband M. N. Gandy of Many, sons; Vince
of Shreveport, Clarence of Hornbeck, Charlie of Lake Charles, N.
E. Gandy of Houston, John and W. O. of Shreveport, Bob of Alburn,
Ga., daughters, Mrs. D. D. Peterson of Many, Mrs. H. W. Duggan of
Joinerville, Tex., Mrs. Claude Carter of Many, Mrs. Cassie Newman
of Shreveport, Mrs. Eston Belvine of Oakdale, brothers, George
and Ed Salter of Many, sisters, Mrs. Nannie Walker of Pleasant
Hill, Mrs. John Gandy of Many, 34 grandchildren and 36 great
grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

  Pallbearers were grandsons, Floyd Peterson, Don Duggan,
Roland Carter, Reginald Gandy, Garland Peterson, Hoyt Duggan.
