James Wiley Gandy

  Funeral services for Mr. James Wiley Gandy, age 82, of Many,
were held Saturday, Jan. 1, at 2 p.m., at St. John Catholic
Church in Many. Father Gustave Bergeron officiated., Burial
followed in the St. John Catholic Cemetery.

  Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many directed the services.

  He died at 10:45 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 30, 1982, at Fraser
Hospital South, after a short illness.

  Mr. Gandy, born and raised in Athens, had resided in the
Kilgore, Tex. Area
  For many years. He had lived in the Many area since 1951.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Andries Gandy of Many;
two sons, Patrick Gandy of Shreveport, and Jim Bob Gandy of Many;
two daughters, Cecelia G. Hambleton of Shreveport, and Carol G.
