Milton G. Gandy

  Services for Mr. Milton G. Gandy, 59, of Shreveport, were held
at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Wayne Fussell, pastor of Midway Church of Christ, where Mr.
Gandy was a member, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park West
Cemetery.

  Mr. Gandy, a salesman at Sears, died Thursday, November 10,
1983, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, after a short illness.
He was born in Peason, La., and had been a resident of Shreveport
since 1940.

  He is survived by his wife, Doris Gandy of Shreveport; one son,
DeWayne Gandy of Angier, N. C.; three daughters, Glenda Steadman,
and Doris Ann Jones of Shreveport, Wandy Sibert of Vivian, La.;
eight grandchildren; two brothers, David Max Gandy of Shreveport,
and Oscar Gandy of Florien, La.; two sisters, Jewel Cavanaugh of
Florien, and Ruth Veuleman of Many, La.; a number of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers were Pete Young, Marvin Jones, Luther Bush, Francis
Baker, Greg Weeks, and Bob Anders.
