William Edward Gandy

  Funeral services for Mr. William Edward Gandy of Florien, are
being held Thursday, October 6, 1983, at 11 a.m., at Castor
Baptist Church. Burial will be at Castor Cemetery. Bros. Morris
Dale Goins, and Clarence Welch officiated. Services are under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Gandy died Tuesday, October 4, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many. He was 94 years of age.

  Mr. Gandy is survived by three sons, Oscar E. Gandy of Florien,
Milton G. Gandy, David M. Gandy, both of Shreveport; two
daughters, Jewel Cavanaugh of Florien, Ruth Veuleman of Many; one
brother, Elmer Gandy of Many; one sister, Mae Gandy of Many; 10
grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great
grandchildren.
