Jewel Pilcher Gandy

  Services for Jewel Pilcher Gandy, 83, will be held at 10 a.m.,
Wednesday, August 28, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Jewel Pilcher Gandy died Sunday, August 25, at Seventh Ward
General Hospital in Hammond.

  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William H. (Joann) Milburn
of Hammond; one son, W. R. Gandy of Many; one sister, Mrs. Thelma
Love of Mansfield; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

  Jewel Pilcher Gandy was preceded in death by her husband, W. O.
Gandy; five sisters, Cora Wedgeworth, Flora Wedgeworth, Ethel
Gandy, Nancy Dew, and Monda Nelson; and five brothers, Lester
Pilcher, Reece Pilcher, Sam Pilcher, Joe Donald Pilcher, and John
Pilcher.
