Walter Herbert Gandy (Photo)

  Funeral services for Walter Herbert Gandy, 88, were held at 2
p.m., Jan. 28, at First Baptist Church of Many.

  Rev. Bob Spears officiated. Interment was in Zion Hill Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Gandy passed away on January 26, 1995, at Sabine Medical
Center.

  Mr. Gandy was born on February 25, 1906, at Negreet, to M. F.
and Reba Addison Gandy.

  Survivors include his widow, Joella Gandy of Many; six sisters,
Frankie G. Nabours, Edna Gandy, and Myrtle Patrick, all of Many,
Nell Morris of Birmingham, Ala., Audrey Tompkins of Winterhaven,
Fla., and Mary Patrick of Baton Rouge.
