Hoyt Gandy

  Funeral services were held for Hoyt Gandy, 66, Wednesday, July
22, who passed away after a long illness in Zwolle on Tuesday,
July 21.

  Rev. B. W. Flanagan officiated at the 2:30 p.m. services, at the
Beulah Baptist Church. Interment was in the Beulah Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many.

  Pallbearers were Hoyt Neel, Roland Carter, Luther Funderburk,
Ross Miller, A. T. Gandy, and Willie Thomas.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Gandy of Many; sons, W. H.
Jr. of Calcasieu, Hershel of Many, Rodney of Marthaville, and
Shannon of New Orleans; daughters, Mrs. T. L. Slay, Minden, Mrs.
W. M. Griffin, Skene, Miss., and Mrs. W. J. Blance, Oxnard,
Calif.; brothers, Wendel of Orange, Tex., and Dent of Beaumont;
sister, Mrs. Amie Harris of Many; and eight grandchildren.
