Benjamin F. Gandy

  Natchitoches, Jan. 26, (Special)

  Benjamin F. Gandy, 94, of Bellwood, died today in a local
nursing home.

  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, in Bellwood
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Monroe Roberts officiating. Burial
was in the Bellwood Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard
Funeral Home.

  Survivors include four sons, B. F. Gandy Jr. of Bellwood, Mack
Gandy of Provencal, George Gandy of Florien, and Edward Gandy of
Pineville; six daughters, Mrs. Nannie Herrington of Florien, Mrs.
Bell Leach of Natchitoches, Mrs. Tenolia Cheeves of Pineville,
Mrs. Della Speights of Negreet, Mrs. Verna Smith of Crossett,
Ark., and Mrs. Emma Miller of Port Arthur, Tex.; 44
grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great
grandchildren.
