Carl Dean Gandy (Photo)

  Carl Dean Gandy, 64, of Mitchell, died Oct. 30, at DeSoto
Regional.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Nov. 2, at Warren Meadows
Funeral Home, with interment following at Middlecreek Cemetery.
The Rev. Ronnie Sandifer officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Sue Gandy of Mitchell; three
daughters, Melissa "Missy" Herald and husband Todd of Orlando,
Fla., Kathleen Gandy of Shreveport, and Angie Parrie and husband
A. J. of Oak Grove; two sisters, Helen Self of West Monroe, and
Geneva Neal of Shreveport; grandson, Colby Tyler Campbell of Oak
Grove; granddaughter, Emily Nicole Herold of Orlando, Fla.; and a
host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Gary Pattison, Dennis Pattison, Johnathan
Scribner, Joseph Hesser, Leslie Badiali, Jean Laffitte, Steve
Smith, and Chris Elliott. Honorary pallbearers were Colby
Campbell, A. J. Parrie, Todd Herald, Gene Pattison, Bobby
Brister, Les Campbell, Kenny Lewing, Jerrell Neel, Gerald Carter,
and Wally Deland.
