James Ray Gentry

  Mr. James Ray Gentry, 91, of Florien, died at the Heritage Manor
Nursing Home at 4:45 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 1985. Funeral
services were at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, at the Prewitts
Chapel Baptist Church. Bro. Jeff Flenniken officiated.

  Mr. Gentry is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Stephens Gentry
of Florien; one sister, Mrs. Muriel Ford of Hornbeck; six
grandchildren, James Ray Gentry II of Anchorage, Alaska, Sherry
Hams of Sencaville, Ohio, Larry Gentry of Hornbeck, Irene
Scroggins of Hornbeck, Doreen Thorsen of Jacksonville, Fla., and
Alton Gentry Jr. of Hornbeck; and 17 great grandchildren.

  Interment was at the Prewitts Chapel Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
