Carson LaCaze officiating. A Rosary was said at 7:30 p.m., Monday, at Boone Funeral Home's Airline Chapel. Interment with full military rites, was at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Bethany Cemetery in Marthaville, La., with the Rev. Ed Fenton officiating. Mr. Gentry died Sunday, September 6, 1987, in Bossier City. A native of Derry, La., he was retired from the U.S.A.F. in 1973. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Paul Gentry. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine M. Gentry of Bossier City; three sisters, Mrs. C. F. Shirley of Winnsboro, La., Mrs. Lucy Gentry Jennings, and Mrs. Evelyn Sutton, both of Shreveport; and one brother, Robert R. Gentry of Many, La. Pallbearers were James Shirley, David Shirley, Terry Shirley, Richard Jennings, Jerry Jennings, James Pearce. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Michael R. Moore, Dr. Michael S. Briggs, Dr. Charles L. Moffet, Sam Touchstone, Billy Sutton Jr., Jason McMillin, Landan Shirley, Normand Begnoche, Gilbert McMillin, and Robert Wenzel.
