Oliver D. Cagle, Jr. Officiating. Burial was held in Mansfield Cemetery. Mrs. Gentry died Friday, February 26, 1993 in Shreveport following a lengthy illness. She was born in Florien, La on November 10, 1900 and had been a resident of Mansfield for 45 years. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church of Mansfield and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Gentry was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ora Gentry. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy G. Hazlewood of Shreveport, La. and Irene G. Brake and husband, Cliff, of Lafayette, La., one son Vernon O. Gentry, and wife Betty of Shreveport; one brother and his wife, W. O. and Iberia Mothershed of Florien, La; one sister-in-law, Ella Mae Mothershed in Many; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends. Pallbearers were Robert Wayne Gentry, Jr., Byron Lee Hazlewood, Clifford M. Brake, Jr., William Kennedy, Christopher Stutes, Tom Germany, and Michael Carter.
