John B. Gentry

  Funeral services for John B. Gentry Jr., 89, were held
Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m., at Jennings Chapel Congregational
Methodist Church near Marthaville.

  Mr. Gentry died Oct. 13, at North Sabine Nursing Home in
Pleasant Hill, after a lengthy illness.

  Officiating at the services were the Rev. I. D. Noble, and the
Rev. Kenny Martin. Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery, under the
direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches.

  Pallbearers were J. C. Jennings, Wilmer Birdwell, Joe McFerrin,
Terry Shirley, Billy Sutton, David Shirley, and Gilbert McMillan.
