B. F. Goode officiating, assisted by the Rev. J. E. Kay. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites by Toro Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons No. 253, were held in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Mr. Gentry, a retired construction worker, died at 7:45 p.m., Oct. 4, in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Shreveport. Survivors include his widow, of Hornbeck; two sons, Floyd Gentry of LaTuente, Calif., and Glen T. Gentry of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Dean G. Conerly of Norman, Okla., and Mrs. Betty G. Rich of Shreveport; one brother, James Ray Gentry of Hornbeck; one sister, Mrs. Murial Ford of Hornbeck; and 14 grandchildren.
