David Lee Gayer, Sr. (Photo)

  David Lee Gayer Sr., 71, of Zwolle, died March 14, 2002, at
Sabine Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., March 16, at Bayou Scie
Methodist Church, with interment following at Bayou Scie
Cemetery. The Rev. Bonita Davis officiated.

  Mr. Gayer was a retired equipment operator.

  Survivors include his widow, Doris Jean Gayer of Zwolle; three
daughters, Donna Scott and husband Richard of Shreveport, Lori
Baker and husband James, and Denise Rivers and husband Lindsey,
all of Zwolle; two sons, David Lee Gayer Jr. of Converse, and
Lance Gayer and wife Melanie of Indianapolis, Tenn.; two sisters,
Ina Aurin of Bakersville, Calif., and Peggy Farley of Plano,
Texas; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.
