Mary Grappe

  Mrs. Mary Grappe, 87, of Many, died on Wednesday, April 20, at
4:15 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include her son, Frank Grappe of Houston, Tex.; two
daughters, Mrs. Bessie Mowad, and Mrs. Wilma Davis, both of Many;
15 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

  A rosary was recited for Mrs. Grappe at 7:30 p.m., Thursday,
April 21, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Funeral services were conducted at the St. John Catholic Church
on Friday, April 22, at 10 a.m., Father Gustave Bergeron
officiated.

  Burial was in the St. John Cemetery in Many. Her grandsons
served as pallbearers.
