Grappe Services for Mrs. Nadine W. Grappe of Shreveport, were at 10 a.m., Friday, June 14, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Msgr. Carson LaCaze, pastor of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, where Mrs. Grappe was a member, officiated. Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m., at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, La. Mrs. Grappe died Wednesday, June 12, 1985, at her residence, after a sudden illness. She was born in Sabine Parish, La., and had been a resident of Shreveport since 1972. She is survived by four sisters, Marie G. White of Shreveport, Mrs. Lurline Webster of Wagoner, Okla., Norma G. Merritt of Shreveport, and Mrs. Blanche Thomas of San Francisco, Calif.; three brothers, J. D. Jeter, and James C. Jeter of Bossier City, La., and W. F. Jeter, Sr. of Zwolle, La. Pallbearers were Ray Kent, Holman Merritt, Stephen Turrentine, Glyn Doiron, Danny McCrary, and James Davis.
