Mrs. Ella Groves

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Groves, 71, of Florien, were to
be held Thursday, Feb. 5, at 10 a.m., at Prospect Methodist
Church, with the Rev. Ed Milam, and the Rev. Charles Scott
officiating. Mrs. Groves died Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Nederland,
Tex., after a short illness.

  Survivors are three brothers, Clifton, and J. T. Davis of
Florien, and Cecil Davis of Gibsland, and one sister, Mrs. Trudie
Corley of Florien.

  Interment was to be in Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows funeral Home.
