Interment followed in Wallace Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Brother Freeman, pastor of the Pleasant Hill United Pentecostal Church, officiated. He passed away October 1, at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport. Mr. Graves was born in Pleasant Hill. He was a machinist with Security Engineering Company, a Pentecostal, and a World War II Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Dahlia Graves of Converse; two sons, Jackie Graves, and Travis Graves of Converse; one sister, Retha Roberts of Lake Village Arkansas; six brothers, Homer Graves of Crossett, Arkansas, Amos Graves of Bastrop, Thurman Graves of Pleasant Hill, Ozel Graves of Shreveport, Marvin Graves of Dallas, Texas, Luther Graves of Pleasant Hill; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
