Raymond E. Graves

  Funeral services for Mr. Raymond E. Graves, 64, were held at 1
p.m., Monday, Oct. 22, at Old Pisgah Baptist Church. Interment
followed in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Tracy Boytlier officiated.

  Mr. Graves passed away at the V.A. Hospital in Shreveport, at
7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19.

  He is survived by his wife, Annette Cobb Graves; two daughters,
Cynthia Simmons of Marthaville, and Phylis Kirkman of Shreveport;
one son, Raymond Jonathan Graves of Shreveport; seven sisters,
Bertha Graves, Ruth Lilley, Lela Kane, all of Marthaville, and
Bertie Wyatt of Shreveport, Mildred Wells of Bastrop, Thelma Rice
of Sacramento, California, and Clara Thompson of Jerome,
Arkansas; two brothers, Vernice Graves of Pleasant Hill, and
Howard Graves of Marthaville; seven grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.
