Officiating were Rev. Charles Hall, pastor of First Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Lamar Duncan. Masonic graveside services were held at O. E. Price Memorial Cemetery, Logansport. Mr. Graves as born in Pleasant Hill, and was a resident of the Joaquin, Tex. - Logansport area. Mr. Graves was a member of the First Baptist Church of Logansport, and past master of Mt. Vernon Lodge #83. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Ruth Graves of Joaquin, Tex.; one son, David Graves and wife Tina of Logansport; three daughters, Sherry Dean and husband J. E. of Shelbyville, Tex., Joyce Singleton and husband George of Tyler, Tex., and Jolynn Lewis and husband Terry of Shreveport; two brothers, J. J. Graves of Zwolle, and C. H. Graves of Longview, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Ross of Wisner, and Mrs. K. C. Peterson of Beaumont, Tex.; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Harold Cogswell, Jack Andrea, Gene Fulmer, Webb Dean, Dwight Hill, John Lawrence, Vernon Eason, and Jack Canton. Honorary pallbearers were Dudley Ramsey, Charlie Dodd, and J. O. Shahan.
