Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Jan. 11, at Crossroads Baptist Church, with interment following at Marthaville Cemetery. The Rev. Glenn Howard, and the Rev. David Hill officiated. Mr. Haward was retired from the Pipeliners Local Union #798 of Tulsa, Okla. He was a member of the Ajax Masonic Lodge, who conducted the graveside service. Survivors included two daughters, Beverly Thompson of Marthaville, and Renee Rains of Robeline; son, Dewayne Graves of Natchitoches; three sisters, Lela Kane of Marthaville, Mildred Wells of Bastrop, and Thelma Rice of Pioneer, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, J. C. Graves and Lucy Hicks Graves; wife, Betty Jean (Greer) Graves; and seven brothers and sisters. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
