Rachel M. George

  Rachel Mae George, 57, of Stonewall, died Saturday, Sept. 22, in
Shreveport, after a long illness.

  The funeral was held at 2 p.m., in Drewett Funeral Home's
Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Lowell Vaught officiating. Burial
followed in Mitchell Cemetery.

  Survivors include one son, Will Reuben George of Del Rio, Texas;
two daughters, Rachel Dorthula Roach of Houston, and Annis
Jeanette Rushton of Keithville; his mother, Mrs. Roxie Estes of
New Orleans; one brother, Birtus Estes of Converse; one sister,
Hazel Norwood of New Orleans; and nine grandchildren.
