George Garcie, Sr.

  Funeral services for Mr. George Garcie, Sr., of Zwolle, were
held Monday, June 13, 1983, at 4 p.m., at St. Ann Catholic
Church. Burial followed at St. Ann Cemetery, with Father Gillis
Boyer, and Rev. Harrison McCoy officiating. A rosary was said
Sunday, June 12, at 7 p.m., at Warren Meadows Chapel. Services
were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Serving as pallbearers were Walter Williamson, Raymond Remedies,
Chester Remedies, Charles Williamson, Henry Garcie, Jr., and
Wilford Sepulvado. Mr. Garcie is survived by his wife, Verna
Garcie of Zwolle; one son, George Garcie, Jr. of Zwolle; two
daughters, Elouise Williamson of Benton, La., Virginia Vines of
Zwolle; one sister, Acension Sepulvado of Zwolle; two brothers,
Henry Garcie, Eli Garcie, both of Zwolle; 10 grandchildren; and 2
great grandchildren.

  Mr. Garcie died Saturday, June 11, at Mansfield General
Hospital, after an extended illness. He was 84 years of age.
