Hubie Garcie

  Memorial services for Mr. Hubie Garcie, 65, of Los Angeles,
Calif., were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle,
Thursday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. A Rosary was said in St. Catherine
Catholic Church in Shreveport, Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m.

  Mr. Garcie, a former Shreveport resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 9.
1984, in Los Angeles. He was born in Zwolle.

  He is survived by his wife, Essie Garcie; two sons, Edward
Garcie of San Francisco, and Harold Garcie of Los Angeles; one
daughter, Dorothy McLeod of Los Angeles; four brothers, Earl,
John, and Henry R. Garcie, all of Shreveport, and Wilford Garcie
of Homer; one sister, Mrs. Louis Sepulvado of Zwolle; two half
brothers, Lee and Tom Garcie of Zwolle; six grandchildren; and
two great grandchildren.
