Mr. Edward Desmond George

  Mr. Edward Desmond George, 61, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at
his residence in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 17, at
Pinecouppe Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods, with interment
following at Flatwoods Cemetery. The Rev. Noah Luman officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Sheila George of Many; two
daughters, Janet Daniels of Flatwoods, and Marilyn Kilgore of
Many; two sons, Lynn George and Troy George, both of Many; four
brothers, Carl L. George of Flatwoods, Donald George of Cotile,
Roland George of Marthaville, and Ronald George, Pineville; four
sisters, Lillie Moore of Alexandria, Betty S. Setliff of
Gonzales, Gerald Setliff of Flatwoods, and Marie Troquille of
Gonzales; and six grandchildren.

  Mr. George was preceded in death by his parents, Leo George, and
Bertie George; and son, Tony George.
