Mr. Tom Garcie (Photo)

  Funeral services for Mr. Tom Garcie, 96, were held at 4 p.m.,
August 21, 1995, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

  Officiating were Father Danny Walsh. Interment was in St. Joseph
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of
Many.

  Mr. Garcie died August 21, 1995, at Sabine Medical Center.

  Survivors are four sons, Eugene Garcie, J. L. Garcie, and Johnny
Garcie, all of Zwolle, and Melvin Garcie of Sibley; two
daughters, Elma "Topsy" Tucker of Lake Arthur, and Marie Rivers
of Zwolle; one sister, Elsie Sepulvado of Zwolle; and four
brothers, Lee Garcie of Zwolle, Wilford "Tap" Garcie of Homer,
Henry Garcie, and John Garcie, both of Shreveport; 17
grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great
grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

  Mr. Garcie was preceded in death by his wife, Louisa Garcie; two
sons, Joseph Garcie, and Joseph Clayton Garcie; and one daughter,
Dorothy Hedgepeth.

  Pallbearers included Larey Paul Tucker, Tommy Garcie, Michael
Garcie, Glenn Garcie, Allen Sepulvado, and Danny Garcie.
