  Funeral services for Mr. Lee L. Garcie, 94, of Zwolle, were held
at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 1997, at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church.

  Father David Richter officiated. Burial was in the St. Joseph's
Catholic Church, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Garcie died Friday, April 18, at his residence.

  He is survived by his widow, Ruth Garcie of Zwolle; four sons,
Kent Garcie of Bossier City, David, and Kenneth Garcie of Zwolle,
and Steven Garcie of Gretna; four daughters, Bertie Culverhouse
of Benton, Mary Jane Britt of Alexandria, Wilma Valentine of
Arlington, Texas, an Frances Bergeron of Baton Rouge; one sister,
Elsie Sepulvado of Zwolle; three brothers, John Garcie of
Shreveport, Wilford Garcie of Homer, and R. E. Garcie of
Shreveport; 35 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 10
great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by one grandson, Kevin Garcie.

  Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were Mr. Garcie's
grandsons, and Tedd Dumas.
