Monsignor Carson LaCaze, pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, officiated. Mrs. Garcia, a long time resident of Shreveport, was born Oct. 29, 1931, in Zwolle, and went home to be with the Lord Nov. 5, 2002 in Shreveport. She was a lifetime member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and was a retired bus aide from the Caddo Parish School Board. Survivors include her husband, James M. Garcia; children, Jimmie Faye Kershaw and husband Bob, James P. Garcia and wife Charlotte, Ronnie M. Garcia and wife Diane, Allen W. Garcia and wife Kimberly, Deborah A. McEntyre and husband Mark, and Lisa G. Cloud and husband Ray; sisters, Sally Procell, Angeline Malmay, Blanche Procell, Cora Meshell, Mattie Garcie, Maggie Manshack, and Mable Sepulvado; 20 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Ascension Sepulvado; and brothers, Joe, Nick, Manuel, and Raymond Sepulvado. Pallbearers were Keith Kershaw, Mikey Kershaw, Wesley Garcia, Ronnie H. Garcia, John Michael Garcia, Steven Cloud, Rufus Meshell, and Dale Ebarb. Honorary pallbearers were J. W. Malmay, James Procell, Buck Garcie, Joe Sepulvado, Lee Sepulvado, Simon Leone, Thomas Procell, John Phillip Sipes, Raymond Sepulvado Jr., Douglas Sepulvado, and Andrew Chamberlain. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Wen Liu and staff, to the nurses and staff of Willis Knighton Medical Centers, who cared for Mrs. Garcia, the doctors and staff at Nephrology Consultants, to Marge at Summit Hospital, to everyone with Dialysis Center of Northwest Louisiana, and to the entire Lindsey family.
