Gressett Robert Harris Gressett, 56, operator of Driftwood Trading Post of Natchitoches, died Saturday afternoon, July 1, at his residence, after a brief illness. Services were held at 11 a.m., in the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Preston Tibbett officiating. Graveside services, with burial following, were held at 2 p.m., in the Centuries Memorial Cemetery in Shreveport, all under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Survivors are his widow, Rosemary T. Gressett; one son, Pal Leslie Gressett of Mansfield; one daughter, Janet Teasley of Natchitoches; four sisters, Dorothy Rutter, and Mattie Wedgeworth, both of Meridian, Miss., Cathryn Freeman of Collinsville, Miss., and Marie Rockford of McComb, Miss.; one brother, William Raymond Gressett of Chunky, Miss.; two grandchildren.
