Ms. Betty Ann Goodwin Garrett

  Ms. Betty Ann Goodwin Garrett, 56, died Sunday, June 25, 1999,
in Panama City, Fla.

  Ms. Garrett had worked for Eckard Drug Store, as a Pharmacy Tech
for seven years.

  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 30, at
Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with
interment following at Ebenezer Cemetery in Hicks. The Rev. Tommy
Smith, and the Rev. Gene Bennett will officiate.

  Survivors include two sons, Wayne Goodwin of Killeen, Texas, and
Linnie Goodwin of Anacoco; one daughter, Shelia Ann Goodwin
Plance of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; three brothers, the Rev. Gene
Bennett of Columbia, Tenn., Henry Frank Smith of Anacoco, and the
Rev. Tommy Smith of Leesville; three sisters, Bobbie Jean Linton
of DeRidder, Linda Tullis of Anacoco, and Wilma Tullis of Bayou
Blue; and nine grandchildren.
