D. L. Garrett

  D. L. Garrett, the father of T. L. Garret, owner of Garrett's
Business Machines of Many and Natchitoches, passed away Monday,
July 13, in a Memphis, Tenn. hospital, after a long illness.

  Mr. Garrett was a resident of Oxford, Mississippi. He is
survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Weathers of Sarah,
Miss., and Mrs. Charles Johnston of Baton Rouge; three sons, C.
B. of Oxford, Robert of Japan, and T. L. of Natchitoches; one
sister, Mrs. Jeff Cox of Tunica, Miss.; one brother, L. J. (Hoss)
Garrett of Ruston; 18 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

  Services for Mr. Garrett were held Wednesday, July 15, in
Oxford, Miss.
