All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ Mrs. Tiny Green Mrs. Tiny Simmons Green, 96, of Mansfield, died on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 8:38 p.m., in the DeSoto General Hospital, following a long illness. Mrs. Green, who was a lifelong resident of Mansfield, was a member of the United Pentecstal Church. Survivors include four sons, Milton Green of Mountain Home, Ark., Alton Green of Hannibal, Missouri, Dalton Green of Noble, Joe Green of Nacogdoches, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Ida Gathright of Mansfield, 39 grandchildren, 102 great grandchildren, and 25 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 28, at the Mansfield United Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. F. L. Diven officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction of Wellman's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Mrs. Green's grandsons.
