Mrs. Hester Green

  Mrs. Hester Green, 76, of Shreveport, died about 9:30 p.m.,
Wednesday, Aug. 4, in Fairfield Hospital, after a long illness.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, in the
Emmanuel Gospel Church near Many, with the Rev. Thurman Boatright
officiating. Burial was in Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Heard and Mrs. Doris
Lindsey, both of Shreveport; a brother, Jim L. Golden of Pleasant
Hill; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Murray of Coushatta; two
grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
