Laura Green

  Mrs. Laura Green, 56, of Goldonna, died in Jonesboro, on
Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 11:45 p.m., following a short illness.

  Survivors include her husband, E. J. Green of Goldonna; one son,
Jimmy Wayne Green of Orange, Tex.; one step son, Cecile Green of
Aberdeen, Scotland; two step daughters, Mrs. Bobby Brown of
Sulphur, and Mrs. Roy Rithell of Shreveport; one brother, William
Charles Ayers of Virginia Beach, Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Estell
Seamons of Crowley, Mrs. Ruth Ramsey of Chatham, Mrs. Nell Womack
of New Orleans, and Mrs. Nita Cooley of Pascagoula, Miss.; 15
grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Goldonna Baptist Church on
Friday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. Officiating were the Rev. Dean
Hendrick, and the Rev. Kit Hawthorn. Burial was in the Goldonna
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
