Officiating at the services, which were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home, were the Rev. Willis Greer, the Rev. Guy Burr, and the Rev. Leroy Chance. Burial was in the Old Pisgah Cemetery. Mr. Green died at 3:15 a.m., in Thursday, July 30, at Fraser Hospital North, following a short illness. He was 84. Survivors include two sons, E. F. Green of Chicago, Ill., and Gale Green of Marthaville; six daughters, Gladys Booker, Verona Brown, Clodel Greer, and Perry Lee Brazil, all of Marthaville, and Mavis Currie, and Gwin Hill, both of Houston, Tex.; 27 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
