G. L. Green

  Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 16, for G. L. Green, 84,
who died suddenly, Saturday, Nov. 14, in Shreveport. The Rev.
Eugene Sattler, and the Rev. Leemon Manasco officiated at the 10
a.m. services, which were held in the Emanuel Gospel Church.
Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Mr. Green is survived by three sons, E. J. Green of Kinder, P.
O. Green of Beaumont, and W. L. Green of New Orleans; three
daughters, Mrs. Mary Lee Beeson, and Mrs. Pearl Brewster of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Ola Wise of Oakland, Calif.; 17
grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and one great-great
grandchild.
