Vernon Grantham

  Services were conducted at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801
Mansfield Road, for Mr. Vernon Grantham, 79, of Shreveport, at
3:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 17. Officiating was the Rev. Billy
Franks. Mr. Grantham entered into rest Friday, Aug. 14, 1987, at
the Autumn Leaves Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. He was a
native of Pleasant Hill.

  He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Georgia Mauldin of
Shreveport; one brother, J. C. Grantham of Baytown, Tex., and a
host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Lester, Odis, Doyle, and Marvin Mauldin, and
Mike, and Kenneth Grantham.
