Interment was at Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro, under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home of Grand Coteau. Mr. Grantham passed away Monday, Oct. 21, at 5:51 a.m., in University Medical Center in Lafayette. He was a native of Belmont, and a resident of Berwick most of his life. He was an oilfield worker for over 30 years, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Grantham; and two sons, Paul Madison Grantham, and Dallas Lee Grantham. Survivors include his wife, the former Elise Rivette of Berwick; one son, Richard Elie Grantham of Iowa; three daughters, Miss Minerva McDonald of Eldorado, Ark., Mrs. Angela Gail Guilbeau of Grand Coteau, and Mrs. Joyce Jacqueline Noel of Arnaudville; eight grandchildren; his mother, the former Dorothy Marr of Many; two brothers; and three sisters.
