Larry Edward Grantham

  Funeral services for Larry Edward Grantham, 62, were held
Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1996, in Melancon Funeral Home Chapel in
Grand Coteau. Interment was at Evangeline Memorial Gardens in
Carencro, under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home of Grand
Coteau.

  Mr. Grantham passed away Monday, Oct. 21, at 5:51 a.m., in
University Medical Center in Lafayette.

  He was a native of Belmont, and a resident of Berwick most of
his life. He was an oilfield worker for over 30 years, and was a
veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Korean War.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Grantham; and
two sons, Paul Madison Grantham, and Dallas Lee Grantham.

  Survivors include his wife, the former Elise Rivette of Berwick;
one son, Richard Elie Grantham of Iowa; three daughters, Miss
Minerva McDonald of Eldorado, Ark., Mrs. Angela Gail Guilbeau of
Grand Coteau, and Mrs. Joyce Jacqueline Noel of Arnaudville;
eight grandchildren; his mother, the former Dorothy Marr of Many;
two brothers; and three sisters.
