Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Betty German, three daughters, Miss Martha German of Many, Mrs. R. E. Waldroup of Shreveport and Mrs .Wayne Boyd of Des Moines, Iowa and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 at the Warren Meadows Chapel. Burial will be in the Many Cemetery. He was a member of the Methodist Church where he has held continuous office for 53 years. Honorary pallbearers are all friends of the family. Conducting the service will be Rev. W. V. Sirman, pastor First United Methodist. Pallbearers are William Ponder, Bert Smith, Horace Tompkins, Willard Sibley, C. B. Tramel, Buddy Dees, C. D. Hancock and Joe Luster.
