The Rev. Louis Coppage, Jr., pastor of First United Methodist Church, Many, officiated. Mr. German, a long time resident of Many, graduated from Many High School, and was a veteran of World War II. Following his discharge from the military service, he worked as a civilian employee at Camp Polk, Leesville. Survivors are an aunt, Miss Daisy Armstrong of Many; three brothers, Robert D. German of Belleville, Ill., Harry L. German of Nacogdoches, Tex., and James Stephens German of Houston, Tex.; and two sisters, Lyvonne German Gray of Nashville, Tenn., and Ruth German Holland of Port Arthur, Tex. Mr. German died at 2:59 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, 1985, at the V. A. Hospital in Shreveport, following a lengthy illness.
