Mrs. Geraldine Garner

  Mrs. Geraldine Garner, 48, of Many, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 11
p.m., following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Garner is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Effie Cade of
Boston, Mass., and Miss Gwen Garner of Houston, Tex.; two sons,
Mr. Gerald Garner, and Robert L. Garner; her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Buford Flanagan; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Powell of Winslow,
Arizona; two brothers, Mr. Elmo Flanagan, and Mr. Edward
Flanagan, both of Houston, Tex.; and 7 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 13, at New Jerusalem
Baptist Church, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. L. D. Davis officiating.
Burial took place in the new Jerusalem Cemetery, with Jenkins
Funeral Home in charge.
