The Sabine Index - Russ W. Greer

  18 Jul 1952 - Funeral rites for Russ W. Greer, 63, who passed
away Sunday, July 6, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday of last
week at Mt. Zion Baptist church by Rev. C. C. Pierce. Interment
was under direction Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were Rev. H. D. Greer, Rev. Otha Greer, J. W.
Lites, H. C. Neal, W. L. Greer and Larry Greer.

  Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. Lottie
Greer, Many; daughters, Mrs. C. E. Mattox, Denver, Colo., Mrs.
Curtis Marr and Mrs. Buford Ritter, both of Many, Mrs. Carra
Funderburk, Bossier City, Mrs. Melmo Miller, Denver, Colo., Ms.
Jack Brady, Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Burtis Ammons, Leesville, Ms.
W. H. Funderburk, Slagle; sisters, Mrs. Ludie James, Houston,
Texas, Mrs. Elizabeth Neal, Many; brothers, Babe Greer, Pleasant
Hill, Joe Greer, Zwolle, Felix Greer, Many, Wes Greer,
Marthaville, Tillman Greer, Many, Jewel Greer, Converse, 23
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
