The Sabine Index - James Arnold Greer

  2 Sep 1949 - Last rites for James Arnold Greer, 27, who died
Aug. 21 at Casper, Wyo., were held Thursday of last week at Mt.
Zion Baptist church with Rev. J. D. Scott, Pineville, and Rev.
Pierce, Mt. Zion officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery
under direction Massingill funeral home.

  Pallbearers were: Homer Farrar, Quinten Dew, Willard Bryant,
Earl Lites and Riley Martin Patton.

  Survivors include: parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Greer,
Colorado City, Texas, formerly of Many; one brother, Rudolph
Greer, Colorado City, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Charle Boyd,
Andrews, Texas; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Greer, of
Vivian, formerly of Many.

  Mr. Greer had served 38 months in the United States
navy.
