The Sabine Index - Mrs. Anis Elizabeth Greer

  23 Mar 1956 - Mrs. Anis Elizabeth Greer, 78, passed away Feb.
15, 1956 at the home near Pleasant Hill after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were held at Spring Ridge Baptist church Feb.
17th at 2:30.

  Rev. J. C. Salley officiating, assisted by Rev. N. G.
Moody and Rev. R. H. Brown.

  Survivors are T. W. Greer and W. C. Greer, Oil City, Author
Greer, Pleasant Hill, A. E. Greer, Shreveport; four daughters,
Mrs. Leola Rogers, Hobbs, N. M.; Mrs. Ela Arie, Delacroix; Mrs.
Ethel English, Pasadena, Texas; Mrs. Annise Moss, New Orleans;
one brother, Lee Chown, Center, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Emma
Greer, Pleasant Hill.

  Mrs. Greer lived a long, fruitful life, a devoted
mother and a notable Christian, she was a faithful servant of her
Lord.

  Having taught Sunday school at Spring Ridge Baptist church
for many years. Only eternity shall reveal the result of her
labor.
