Gretchen N. Greer

  Funeral services for Gretchen N. Greer, 74, were held at 2:30
p.m., Jan. 24, at Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist
Church.

  Rev. Kenny Martin, Rev. I. D. Noble, Rev. Ed Fenton, and Rev.
Ray Dyess officiated.

  Interment was in Bethany Cemetery in Marthaville, under the
direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Greer passed away on Jan. 22, 1995, in Shreveport.

  Mrs. Greer was a resident, and was born in Marthaville. Mrs.
Greer was a homemaker.

  Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Kay
Downs.

  Survivors include her widower, Larry W. Greer of Marthaville;
son, Larry D. Greer and wife Dorothy of Milam, Tex.; three
daughters, Betty Jean Graves and husband Hayward of Marthaville,
Frances Downs Boudreaux and husband Ronald of Opelousas, and
Rachel Lynn Greer of Marthaville; sister, Mrs. Jane Wells of
Shreveport; two brothers, Edward R. McGehee of Hillsboro, Tex.,
and Gary McGehee of Shreveport; ten grandchildren; sixteen great
grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Timothy James Heinzen, D. Joseph Rains, Paul
Rains, Prentiss Downs, C. W. Greer, Tommy Owens, Wallace Greer,
and Marlin Flores.
